Enforcement Standards

The LUCY Acceptable Use Policy outlines the rules and standards for using the LUCY music distribution platform and related services. This includes guidelines for content uploads, account conduct, prohibited activities, and our enforcement process. We maintain these standards to ensure a fair and trustworthy environment for all independent artists distributing their music through LUCY.

Platform Rules

The LUCY Acceptable Use Policy sets out the rules that all users must follow when using the LUCY music distribution platform and related services operated by ONE Studios Ltd. These rules exist to maintain a safe, fair, and professional environment for independent artists, songwriters, and labels distributing music through LUCY. By using the platform, you agree to abide by this policy.

LUCY is designed for legitimate music distribution by rights holders. All users must act in good faith, respect the rights of other artists and creators, and comply with applicable laws in their jurisdiction. We expect all users to treat the platform, its community, and our support team with respect.

Prohibited Activities

Users may not engage in stream manipulation, artificial streaming, bot-generated plays, or any activity designed to inflate streaming numbers fraudulently. Purchasing streams, using click farms, or employing automated tools to generate fake plays violates this policy and may result in immediate account termination. These activities also violate the terms of streaming platforms and can result in your music being removed from stores.

Users may not upload content they do not have the rights to distribute, including unauthorized covers, uncleared samples, or music owned by another party. Distributing copyrighted material without proper authorization is a violation of this policy and applicable copyright law. Users may not use LUCY to distribute hate speech, content that incites violence, or material that is illegal in the jurisdictions where it would be available.

Account Conduct and Responsibilities

Each user is responsible for all activity that occurs under their account. Sharing account credentials, creating multiple accounts to circumvent enforcement actions, or impersonating another artist or entity are prohibited. Users must provide accurate information during registration and keep their account details up to date, including contact information and payment details.

Users on Label plans who manage multiple artists are responsible for ensuring that all artists under their account comply with this Acceptable Use Policy. Label account holders will be held accountable for violations committed by any artist or collaborator they have added to their account.

Enforcement Standards

ONE Studios Ltd. enforces this policy through a graduated system. Minor or first-time violations typically result in a warning and a request to correct the issue. Repeated violations or serious breaches may result in content removal, temporary account suspension, or permanent account termination. In cases involving fraud or illegal activity, we may report the matter to relevant authorities.

If your account is subject to an enforcement action, you will be notified by email with an explanation of the violation and any required corrective steps. You may appeal enforcement decisions by contacting our support team within 14 days of the notification. Appeals are reviewed by a member of the ONE Studios Ltd. team and you will receive a written response.
