These Terms of Use govern your use of the LUCY music distribution platform operated by ONE Studios Ltd. Understand content ownership, royalty payment terms, distribution rights, and your responsibilities as an independent artist on the platform. We believe in transparency: you keep your masters, you own your music, and you receive every royalty you earn. Review the full agreement before distributing your music through LUCY.
These Terms of Use constitute a binding agreement between you and ONE Studios Ltd., the company operating the LUCY music distribution platform. By creating an account or using any LUCY services, you agree to these terms in full. LUCY provides music distribution, analytics, royalty collection, and educational services to independent artists, songwriters, and small labels worldwide.
You must be at least 18 years old to create a LUCY account, or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. ONE Studios Ltd. reserves the right to update these terms with reasonable notice, and continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
You retain full ownership of all music, artwork, metadata, and other content you upload to LUCY. ONE Studios Ltd. does not claim any ownership rights over your masters, compositions, or creative works. By submitting content for distribution, you grant LUCY a non-exclusive license to deliver your music to the streaming platforms and digital stores you select. This license exists solely to perform the distribution service on your behalf and can be revoked by requesting a takedown.
You represent and warrant that you own or have obtained all necessary rights, licenses, and permissions for any content you distribute through LUCY, including master recording rights, composition rights, sample clearances, and any required third-party authorizations. You are solely responsible for ensuring that your content does not infringe on the intellectual property rights of any third party.
LUCY collects streaming royalties on your behalf from all platforms where your music is distributed. You receive one hundred percent of the artist share of royalties earned from your streams. LUCY does not deduct commissions or take a percentage of your streaming revenue on any plan. Royalty earnings are displayed in your dashboard and updated regularly as platforms report streaming data.
Royalties become available for withdrawal once they reach the minimum payout threshold. Payments can be made to your bank account or PayPal. ONE Studios Ltd. is not responsible for delays in royalty reporting caused by streaming platforms, as each platform reports earnings on its own schedule. You are responsible for any taxes applicable to your earnings in your jurisdiction.
You may cancel your LUCY subscription at any time. Upon cancellation, your music remains live on streaming platforms unless you request a takedown. You may request removal of your content from all platforms at any time through the LUCY dashboard. ONE Studios Ltd. will process takedown requests promptly, though platform processing times vary and are outside our control.
If ONE Studios Ltd. terminates your account for a violation of these terms, you will receive any outstanding royalties earned up to the date of termination, minus any amounts owed to the company. Disputes arising from these terms are governed by the laws of Israel and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Tel Aviv.
